CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION POLICY

At Hotel La Magdalena, we strive to provide clarity and transparency regarding our reservation policies. By confirming a reservation, the guest agrees to the following Cancellation and Modification Policy.

1. Non-Refundable Reservations

All reservations made through:

  • Our official website;

  • Wix Hotels;

  • WhatsApp;

  • Email;

  • Payment links;

  • PayPal;

  • Or authorized booking channels;

are considered non-refundable.

2. Cancellations

In the event of a cancellation by the guest, the amount paid will not be refunded.

However, the hotel may retain the amount paid as a credit toward a future reservation under the following conditions:

  • Valid for a maximum period of twelve (12) months from the original reservation date;

  • Subject to hotel availability;

  • Rates in effect at the time of the new reservation will apply;

  • Any change must be approved by the hotel.

3. Date Modifications

Requests to change reservation dates must be submitted at least fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the originally scheduled arrival date.

Requests submitted after this deadline may be denied.

All date changes are subject to:

  • Availability;

  • Seasonal demand;

  • Operational restrictions;

  • Applicable rate differences.

If the selected new dates are subject to a higher room rate, the guest shall be responsible for paying the applicable difference.

4. No-Show

A reservation shall be considered a "No-Show" when the guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date and does not notify the hotel in advance.

In such cases:

  • The reservation will be automatically canceled;

  • The guest will forfeit 100% of the amount paid.

No refunds, credits, or rescheduling options will apply.

5. Force Majeure

Force majeure circumstances may be evaluated individually by the hotel.

These may include:

  • Serious medical emergencies;

  • Natural disasters;

  • Government-imposed restrictions;

  • Large-scale transportation cancellations;

  • Other duly documented extraordinary circumstances.

The approval of modifications, credits, or exceptions shall remain at the sole discretion of the hotel.

6. Additional Services

Cancellation policies for:

  • Tours and excursions;

  • Decorations;

  • Day passes;

  • Transportation services;

  • Other ancillary services;

may vary depending on the service provider or contracted service.

The hotel will communicate the applicable terms and conditions prior to confirmation of the service.

7. Exceptional Refunds

Any exceptional refund approved by the hotel may be subject to deductions for:

  • Banking fees;

  • Processing costs;

  • Payment platform charges;

  • Taxes;

  • Administrative fees.
