Welcome to Hotel La Magdalena, operated by Magdalena Hotels & Suites SAS. By making a reservation, accessing, or using our website and services, guests agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Reservations
 

Reservations may be made through:

  • Official website

  • Wix Hotels

  • WhatsApp

  • Email

  • Authorized booking platforms

  • Payment links provided by our financial institution

  • PayPal

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by the hotel.

Hotel La Magdalena reserves the right to reject or cancel reservations containing false information, suspected fraud, or violations of these Terms and Conditions.
 

3. Payment Methods
 

We accept:

  • Credit and debit cards

  • PSE payments

  • Domestic bank transfers

  • PayPal

  • Cash payments in Colombian Pesos (COP)

The hotel does not accept payments in U.S. Dollars (USD) or direct international wire transfers, except through authorized payment platforms such as PayPal.
 

All electronic payments are processed by specialized third-party providers and are subject to their respective security and privacy policies.
 

4. Cancellation, Modifications, and No-Show Policy

All reservations are non-refundable.

In the event of cancellation by the guest:

  • The amount paid may be retained as a credit for a future reservation;

  • Valid for up to twelve (12) months;

  • Subject to availability;

  • Subject to applicable rate differences;

  • And subject to hotel approval.

Date change requests must be submitted at least fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the scheduled arrival date.

Requests submitted after this period may be denied.

In the event of a No-Show, the guest shall forfeit 100% of the amount paid.

Force majeure circumstances may be evaluated individually at the sole discretion of the hotel.
 

5. Check-In and Check-Out
 

Check-in Time: 3:00 PM
Check-out Time: 12:00 PM

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
 

6. Identification and Registration
 

All guests must present a valid identification document or passport at check-in, in accordance with Colombian law.

The reservation holder must be at least 18 years old.

The hotel may deny check-in in cases of:

  • Invalid documentation;

  • Reservation inconsistencies;

  • Failure to comply with legal requirements;

  • Inappropriate or suspicious behavior.

7. Minors
 

Minors must be accompanied by their parents, legal guardians, or duly authorized adults.

If a minor is traveling without their parents, the following documentation will be required:

  • A notarized authorization letter;

  • Copies of identification documents;

  • Birth certificate, when applicable.

The hotel reserves the right to deny check-in if these documents are not provided.
 

8. Pet Policy
 

Pets are not permitted unless expressly authorized in advance by the hotel.

Only the following may be permitted:

  • One (1) pet per room;

  • Domestic dogs or cats;

  • Properly documented service animals.

The following are not permitted:

  • Exotic animals;

  • Wild animals;

  • Farm animals;

  • Species considered dangerous.

Guests shall be fully responsible for:

  • Property damage;

  • Injuries to third parties;

  • Hygiene and sanitation;

  • Noise disturbances;

  • Any other disruption caused by the pet.

The hotel reserves the right to revoke pet authorization in cases of non-compliance.
 

9. Non-Smoking Policy
 

Smoking is strictly prohibited in:

  • Guest rooms;

  • Balconies;

  • Bathrooms;

  • Indoor common areas;

  • Any other enclosed spaces within the hotel.

Violations may result in:

  • Additional cleaning charges;

  • Charges for damages;

  • Immediate termination of the stay.

10. External Visitors
 

For security reasons, only guests properly registered and documented with the hotel may access guest rooms.

The hotel reserves the right to restrict or deny access to external visitors.
 

11. Guest Liability for Damages
 

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to:

  • Guest rooms;

  • Furniture;

  • Equipment;

  • Linens and textiles;

  • Decorations;

  • Hotel facilities.

The hotel may charge for repair, replacement, or additional cleaning costs resulting from negligence or misuse.
 

12. Personal Belongings and Safe Deposit Box
 

Each room is equipped with a safe deposit box for storing valuables.

Hotel La Magdalena shall not be liable for:

  • Loss;

  • Damage;

  • Theft;

  • Misplacement of personal belongings left outside the safe.

13. Third-Party Services
 

The hotel may offer or coordinate additional services, including:

  • Tours and excursions;

  • Transportation;

  • Decorations;

  • Experiences and activities;

  • Partner restaurants;

  • Day passes.

Certain services may be provided by independent third-party operators.

Hotel La Magdalena shall not be responsible for:

  • Delays;

  • Cancellations;

  • Accidents;

  • Losses;

  • Service quality issues;

  • Any circumstance directly attributable to third-party providers.

14. Conduct and Right of Admission
 

The hotel reserves the right of admission and continued stay.

The hotel may deny entry or terminate the stay of guests involved in:

  • Illegal activities;

  • Violence;

  • Use of illegal substances;

  • Aggressive behavior;

  • Sexual exploitation;

  • Disturbance of public order;

  • Property damage;

  • Violations of hotel policies.

No refunds shall be granted in such cases.
 

15. Prevention of Child Exploitation
 

In compliance with Colombian law, Hotel La Magdalena rejects all forms of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.

The provisions of Law 679 of 2001 and Law 1336 of 2009 shall apply.
 

16. Force Majeure
 

The hotel shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;

  • Weather conditions;

  • Power outages;

  • Internet service interruptions;

  • Civil unrest;

  • Pandemics;

  • Government actions;

  • Protests;

  • Other force majeure events.

17. Data Protection
 

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Colombian data protection laws.

By using our services, guests authorize the processing of their personal data.
 

18. Intellectual Property
 

All content on the website, including:

  • Images;

  • Logos;

  • Text;

  • Designs;

  • Trademarks;

  • Audiovisual materials;

is the property of Magdalena Hotels & Suites SAS or its respective owners and may not be used without prior written authorization.
 

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
 

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent authorities and courts of Colombia.
 

20. Amendments
 

Hotel La Magdalena reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Any updates will be published on the official website and shall become effective upon publication.
